This is a BIG clock, a sub-project derived from the original small "digital clock date thermometer for PIC16F84/PIC16F628/PIC16F690". The code is exactly the same, but the hardware part is changed. In the original clock, 4x7 segment display is used. Those digits could be turned on easily using some common small power transistors (200mA). This particular project uses either 14 legs/segment or 6 leds/segment which requires bigger source power.

Note: Do not place DS18S20/DS18B20 near heat providers, best thing is to let it float in the air while is connected through isolated wires. See » How it works page for additional info.
